Concerning [in 1796] the delay in sending a copy of his Memoirs of Metastasio to Walker, commenting on the book and on world conditions, saying [in 1799] that his books have been in great confusion since he changed apartments, mentioning Purcell's musical entertainment for St. Cecilia's Day, Handel's Alexander's Feast, North's manuscript Memoirs of Music, etc.
